Perhaps like you, I have bought those hyped-up console wholesale lists from on ebay (some up to $300) and been extremely disappointed! I found that they contain the kind of information that should be free...
The above list of wholesalers is not what you'd expect to pay much for, yet it has been sold for alot on eBay! Plus it's NOT guaranteed to be scam free due to the risk of using the Product Sourcing sites... The above suppliers such as doba, dropship design, and dropshipper network do offer a great package at a price - where they give you a webstore containing all their products automatically stocked - so they're excellent in that way. An automated dropship business website - what could be easier? Salehoo also offer in-depth product sourcing with their $67 membership like Worldwide Brands. The downside is, if you were to join all of the above dropshippers and services - the only ones findable by the public - you would need to spend $50-$267 on each.
After selling a few of my own lists on eBay, many sellers mirrored me to tell you that they have the best list, that they have the same wholesalers that retail stores use, that they are professional and didn't get their list from the search engines. LIARS!
As you
know I have
personally bought such lists currently being sold right now. This is how they figured they could say things like "100's of sources" in their ad listings by mentioning a couple of product sourcing sites...
Another
misleading thing is the price. Have you ever seen "PS3 for up to 75%
off RRP!" or something similar? What rubbish. I saw the "wholesale"
site in question with the PS3 RRP at $1700, and wholesale $850.
Obviously the RRP was increased to make the "wholesale" price look
cheaper. If you believe something like a Playstation 3 can be
legitimately bought for 75% off or $250 - keep dreaming! Remember RRP
is a price recommended for stores - not what you can sell it for or an
indication of profit.
My list focuses on only the authorized dropshippers (see faq) of game consoles like PS3, XBOX, Wii, PSP, GameBoy, etc, accessories, games and alot more other electronic stuff!
There are many so called "wholesalers" out there, but if you found them with a search engine or advertised, they would be middlemen. Basically, they buy in bulk from another wholesaler. Authorized Dealers deal directly with the manufacturer and so have authority from the manufacturer to sell the product. Because they are chosen by the manufactuer - who has the greatest reputation at stake - authorized wholesalers are #1, A-Grade businesses and are the absolute best ones to buy from. Other dropship wholesalers are plagued with issues such as long shipping times, slow customer service, high fees, non-manufacturer supplied warranty, etc...
Firstly the wholesalers in my list are specially selected because they are authorized, but another big choice factor is if they either have no minimum order, or DROPSHIP - meaning they don't force you to buy in bulk, or you can sell an item to a customer before paying the supplier. When you collect the money from the sale you pay the supplier who then ships the item directly to the customer for you. You SELL > Supplier Ships to Customer > You keep the profit

When looking at dropship wholesale prices for electronic items, it is strongly advised that you don't expect them to be very much different to retail prices and especially eBay prices. It's always the manufacturers that are the millionaires, and the wholesalers prefer to sell in bulk because not even they make much of a markup, usually only 1%. If you make 2 - 20% profit then you should be very happy. The sooner you realise this the safer you'll be, because you are less likely to take the bait from scam sellers offering PS3's for $150 for example. The list that I am providing is as good as it gets, because you will be dealing with the local wholesalers that deal directly with the manufacturers, meaning no middle men, no extra markup, more negotiation, more reliability, total trust, proper warranty, etc. After all, the manufacturers have put their reputation on the line to deal with these selected wholesalers so they have to be the best. The only way to get lower prices are to either;
Why? Because "everyone's doing it." This means competition.

If you can't do those things then consider selling outside of eBay - and don't expect to get prices for genuine products that beat any other price and only buy 1 at a time in a dropship arrangement! The second reason is that eBay has a bad reputation to a couple of distributors, so find some other options before applying for accounts. Many sellers are leaving eBay because they've had enough of their fees and policies (such as the "paypal only" policy in Australia.) This means the time is right for you because the playing field is less competitive on eBay and the other cheaper auction sites are getting more popular!! For other places to sell click here.

As you can see, this list only has a handful of selected suppliers - it is not like other lists that have 100's, ie. full of garbage! + 1000's more* In addition to authorized suppliers, this list also contains some links to find "1000's of sources" if you so wish (NOT part of the scam-free guarantee). These links are to product sourcing search engine sites from which you can find 100's if not 1000's more sources. The wholesalers in the USA, Canada, UK and Australia are authorized by their vendors (the brand name manufacturers who partnered with them) and supply the retail chains in those countries. The wholesalers in Asia can send stock internationally and are quite inexpensive. They are proven and reliable but not under authorization to my knowledge. To use the same wholesalers as retail chains, you may need to provide proof of having a reputable business. This can mean a tax certificate like an ABN in Australia and proof of id.
I wish I had this information earlier instead of spending 16 hours a day for over 1 year looking for it! This list is the result of MY OWN hard work, trying to find the best, cheapest and most reputable wholesalers for my own full time ebay business! These wholesalers are hand picked by me and made me a Powerseller in the shortest possible time!
